Our true essence
True, authentic connection with others requires a true, authentic connection with ourselves first. Only then are we able to express our true essence as a Divine Feminine or Divine Masculine and attract like-hearted people into our lives.
Do you know what your true essence is?
Our energy is made up of feminine and masculine energy. You may know this as yin and yang. We all have both energies within us, regardless of our gender. But it doesn’t necessarily have to be a 50:50 split. Every single one of us is unique and so is our energy. For example, if you resonate more with the feminine energy, this means that your leading energy is the feminine. But you also have masculine energy in your body. And vice versa.
Both energies must not only be honored, but also embodied in their Divine expression rather than their wounded or distorted one. That is what is required of us. To recognize when we still think, speak, feel and act from a wounded place within us. Below you find some examples of both the wounded & distorted expression and the Divine expression of the feminine and masculine energies.
The more we clear, purge, and purify, the more our Divinity shines from within.
The wounded & distorted feminine and masculine energies
The wounded & distorted feminine is:

- co-dependent,

- lacking boundaries,
- people pleasing, and/or
- powerless.
The wounded & distorted masculine is:

- controlling,
- demanding,
- aggressive,
- intimidating,
- competitive,
- manipulative,
- dishonest,
- untrustworthy,
- withdrawn,
- avoidant,
- narrow-minded,
- frustrated,
- destructive,
- selfish, and/or
- emotionally unavailable.
The Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine energies
The Divine Feminine is:
- intuitive,
- highly spiritual,
- authentic,
- magnetic,
- radiant,
- receptive,
- healing,
- nurturing,
- gentle,
- kind,
- loving,
- compassionate,
- empathetic,
- sensual,
- creative,
- inspiring,
- flowing,
- open,
- vulnerable,
- wise,
- patient,
- relaxed,
- surrendering,
- forgiving,
- powerful, and
- BEING.
The Divine Masculine is:
- logical,
- stable,
- protective,
- present,
- giving,
- generous,
- reliable,
- trustworthy,
- honest,

- respected,
- confident,
- courageous,
- decisive,
- taking action,
- purpose-driven,
- grounded,
- focused,
- disciplined,
- efficient,
- organized,
- heart-mind-integrated, and
- DOING.
If you don't shy away from the inner work, this path will lead you to inner union and wholeness.
Inner & outer union
It’s important to remember that we all have feminine and masculine energies within us.
If we are to come together in sacred union in our relationships, we must not only heal our wounded & distorted feminine and masculine energies, but also step into their Divine expression and harmonize these energies within us. This inner union leads to outer union in our relationships.
Goals
on our path of self-mastery are:
- to bring awareness to our true essence, e.g. to realize if we have a leading energy,
- to activate a natural self-healing process and release energetic blockages,
